How PCO Desk handles information

PCO Desk works without accounts or uploads and uses analytics only after your explicit choice.

Checker answers

Your complete checker session remains in session storage in the current browser tab so a refresh can restore progress. It is not placed in the URL or submitted to a PCO Desk database. Resetting clears the session; browsers normally clear it when the tab closes.

Optional Google Analytics 4

No Google resource is loaded before you accept analytics. If you accept, PCO Desk uses Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-0KJH3K7MR4 to understand page use and aggregate checker funnel progress. PCO Desk supplies sanitized page paths and titles, ruleset version, completed checker step IDs with bounded completed-question counts, checker completion, restore outcomes, and checker result actions such as print or reset.

Google Analytics sets first-party _ga cookies containing a pseudonymous client ID and session state. Analytics requests expose an IP address to Google, which Google uses to derive approximate geography and says it does not log or store in Google Analytics. Google also receives browser and device information. Browser location coordinates used by the checker stay in the browser; analytics receives no selected region or precise location field from PCO Desk.

PCO Desk does not supply questionnaire answers, selected region, readiness result details, email addresses, free text, establishment names, permit identifiers, raw coordinates, sensitive URL parameters, or custom User-ID to analytics. PCO Desk-supplied page locations and fields exclude query strings. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google Signals, and Ads features remain disabled. Analytics is not used for automated decisions or profiling and cannot change a checker result.

Google as analytics recipient

Google LLC and relevant Google affiliates process analytics information to provide Google Analytics under Google's terms and may process it where Google operates systems. Read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your consent choice and cookies

Accept or decline is stored in this browser for 180 days. Google documents that its analytics cookies may otherwise persist for up to two years, subject to browser limits. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change or revoke your choice. Revoking denies analytics storage, stops PCO Desk from sending further custom measurement, removes the loader, and clears accessible PCO Desk _ga cookies. Information processed before withdrawal remains subject to the retention and deletion controls below. No analytics choice limits checker access.

Retention

PCO Desk's policy is to retain user-level and event-level Google Analytics data for no longer than 14 months. The GA4 Admin setting must be verified separately as an operational control, and that verification is pending. Google notes that its standard aggregated reports are not controlled by the user-and-event retention setting. The browser consent record lasts 180 days, checker sessions normally last only for the tab, and correspondence is retained only as needed to respond, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Optional email updates

Signing up for PCO Desk updates is optional and never changes access to the checker or its results. The signup form sends your email address directly to Buttondown LLC in the United States. The request also exposes ordinary network and subscription information to Buttondown, including your IP address, browser and device information, referring origin, and subscription timestamp. PCO Desk does not include checker answers, selected region, readiness result, permit data, establishment data, or free text in the signup request.

Buttondown uses double opt-in: your subscription remains unactivated until you confirm through the email it sends. Buttondown processes subscriber records to provide confirmation, delivery, subscription management, abuse prevention, and suppression of addresses that unsubscribe or complain. PCO Desk keeps optional open and click tracking disabled.

Buttondown and its subprocessors may process information outside the Philippines under the safeguards described in Buttondown's Data Processing Agreement. Review Buttondown's current Privacy Policy and subprocessor list.

Confirmed subscriber records remain while you subscribe. Buttondown may retain limited suppression or security records after an unsubscribe or complaint to prevent unwanted resubscription and abuse. You can unsubscribe or request deletion through any update email or privacy@pcodesk.com.

Email communications

If you contact privacy@pcodesk.com, PCO Desk processes your email address, message content, and delivery information to respond. Please do not include permit documents or sensitive establishment information.

Your data-subject rights

You may ask to access or correct personal data, object to or withdraw consent for processing, request erasure or blocking, obtain portability where applicable, or claim damages as provided by law. You may file a complaint with the Philippine National Privacy Commission. Send requests to privacy@pcodesk.com. Because PCO Desk has no account or custom User-ID, include the relevant browser identifier only if requested; PCO Desk may otherwise be unable to associate an analytics record with you. Use Reset or close the tab to remove the browser-only checker session.

No establishment documents

The public checker does not accept files, permit numbers, establishment names, or operational records.
